Monthly Events Attend MonSFFA’s regularly scheduled monthly events and meet other SF/F fans! Share interests, exchange ideas, view current and classic SF/F movies and TV shows, enjoy guest speakers and special presentations, participate in workshops and discussion panels, get involved in various club projects, and more!
WARP You will receive a one-year subscription (3-4 issues) to MonSFFA’s fanzine, Warp! Produced by our members for our members, Warp keeps you up to date on club activities and brings you general news from around the greater SF/F community! Warp is also a forum for you, the members — we want your book and movie reviews, opinion columns, short fiction and humour, artwork, etc! And, as a MonSFFA member, you are entitled to place (non-commercial) ads in Warp at no charge — sell your old SF book collection, announce that you’re looking for gaming partners, or whatever!
Impulse Impulse is our newsletter. Published 10 times a year, Impulse informs us of upcoming meetings and events of interest to our members. It is available free from our website, but printed copies are available to members at meetings and by mail.
Membership Fees
Standard annual membership: $25.00
Family membership: $40 Though it counts as a single membership, up to four people living at the same address will be able to join as a family, entitling all to share in our activities.
Six-month membership: $15.00 Six-month membership designed to accommodate newcomers who wish to give the club a try.
Platinum membership: Add 10$ to any of the above membership options, perks include extra raffle tickets, first crack at the books sales, etc.
Individual meetings: Visitors are always welcome! However, a donation of 3$ to help defray the costs of the room is appreciated.
Payment Options: Cheques can be made out to “MonSFFA” or you can send in your membership by e-payment to <treasurer@monsffa.ca>.
Please note, that when a renewal fee comes in late, the renewed membership will be retroactive to when the membership actually expired, not to the date of renewal.
