Attention MonSFFA Club Members, and Sci-Fi Book Fans Across the Montreal Region!
MonSFFA’s annual Super Sci-Fi Book Sale will take place in just one week, next Saturday, October 17! Doors open to the public at 12:30PM!
Be sure to mark next Saturday, October 17, in your calendars, folks, and gather your coins and folding money for this bargain-bonanza of a chance to stock up on all your fall and winter sci-fi reading! Come one, come all!
The Halloween season is upon us, and that’s the perfect time to revisit classic sci-fi/horror stories, or to start reading a new dark fantasy series! And remember, a good book makes a great present, so get an early jump on your Christmas gift shopping!
Paperbacks, hardcovers, trades, plus many comics, magazines, and even a few DVDs—we’ll have hundreds upon hundreds of titles, from Asimov to Zelazny, at the lowest prices in all of known space! Take advantage of our “Bulk Book Bargains”—the more you buy, the more you save!
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: We are informed by our venue managers of a last-minute change of function room! Because our originally advertised “Salle St-Mathieu” will be unavailable on the event date, the Super Sci-Fi Book Sale will now take place in nearby “Salle René-Lévesque,” adjoining the hotel’s restaurant. To repeat, The Super Sci-Fi Book Sale has been moved to “Salle René-Lévesque,” at the downtown Nouvel Hotel, 1740 Boul. René-Lévesque O. (corner St-Mathieu, near downtown Metro stations and on major bus routes)! The entrance to the book sale is situated just to the left of the south “condo” tower’s main entrance, and is accessible directly from St-Mathieu Street, or from within the hotel complex. Please spread the word! And bring a couple friends to the sale!
Help us stage this event by volunteering to lend a hand with unpacking, set-up, and take-down! We require help especially on Friday evening, October 16, and Saturday morning, October 17, the day of the sale! Volunteer-club-members, and volunteers in general, are rewarded with first crack at our inventory of books, as well as with our eternal gratitude!
