There will be a costume exhibition of designs by Thierry Mugler at the Museé des Beaux Arts (Mar 2 – Sep 8) that I think will interest our members, especially with Costume Con being in Montreal in 2020.
Of course, it depends on just what the museum chooses to put on display. If the emphasis is on the costumes designed for stage and the Cirque du Soleil, then for sure it will be an interesting field trip.
But it could be mostly a fashion show. OTOH, having looked at Mugler Ready-to-Wear collections, there is definitely more than a hint of SF/F. The models are from fantasy, for sure!
Should I research this further??
