MonSFFA\u2019s<\/span> March 10 meeting will <\/span>welcome two special guests on the topic <\/span>of women in SF\/F. Who are the Genre\u2019s most <\/span>notable women writers, and why don\u2019t we hear <\/span>about them quite as much as we hear about <\/span>their male counterparts? <\/span><\/p>\n

What obstacles have <\/span>and do women writers face in a Genre long<\/span>
\ndominated by men? Are female writers finally <\/span>making their mark on SF\/F, or have they <\/span>already done so, and long been recognized for<\/span>
\ntheir contributions? Do the characters, worlds, <\/span>aliens, of speculative stories penned by women <\/span>differ greatly, broadly speaking, from those of <\/span>male authors? <\/span><\/p>\n
