For its marketing, Disney in 2013 applied to trademark \u201cD\u00eda de los Muertos\u201d \u2014 the Mexican holiday the movie centers on \u2014 sparking a backlash from prominent Latino voices.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Mexican American cartoonist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/comic-riffs\/wp\/2016\/01\/04\/bordertown-writer-says-new-fox-show-joked-about-giving-donald-trump-credit\/?utm_term=.80b9a4ae1621\">Lalo Alcaraz<\/a> (\u201cLa Cucaracha\u201d) helped give image to the outcry.
