MonSFFA Field Trip is this Sunday<\/h3>\n

Mark Sunday, May 14<\/strong>, on your calendars, for with the Who\u2019s familiar guitar riff ringing in our ears, we\u2019re headed to the Montreal Science Centre at the Old Port to take in CSI: The Experience! <\/a>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Based on the popular, long-running American television franchise, this \u201cinteractive learning adventure,\u201d so described, will allow us to play forensic detective as we investigate a \u201ccrime scene,\u201d collecting and analyzing \u201cblood splatter, DNA,\u201d and other evidence in order to solve a case of criminal nefariousness!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll meet no later than 12:30PM in front of the ticket booth in the Science Centre\u2019s lobby.<\/strong> Our plan is to have everyone purchase tickets for a 1:00PM or 1:15PM entry,<\/strong> so that we may all access the exhibit area at the same time.<\/p>\n

MonSFFen will be responsible for their own admission. Adult \"\"<\/a>admittance is listed at $23, with discounts available for children and seniors. The Montreal Science Centre is located on the King Edward Pier, Old Port of Montreal<\/strong>\u2014that\u2019s at the intersection of St-Laurent Boulevard and de la Commune Street, an approximately 10- to 15-minute walk from either the Place d\u2019Armes or Champs-de-Mars Metro stations.<\/p>\n

Street parking is available in the area for those travelling by car, but we caution that it can be difficult to find a spot. Alternately, paid parking is available in a lot adjacent the Science Centre (access via King Edward Pier entrance).<\/p>\n

This outing will take place in lieu of a club meeting this month. Note that our next MonSFFA meeting is scheduled for June 4.<\/p>\n
