\"\"<\/a>MonSFFA<\/strong>\u2019s next meeting is scheduled to take place this Saturday, November 8<\/strong>, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM! This will be our last regular meeting of 2025; next month, we celebrate the Holiday Season with our traditional dinner\/party.<\/p>\n

We will gather at our downtown meeting locale<\/strong>, Le Nouvel Hotel, 1740 Ren\u00e9-L\u00e9vesque Ouest<\/strong> (corner St-Mathieu); find us in the \u201cFaubourg\u201d conference room.<\/p>\n

Out-of-towners, as always, may join our ZOOM-chat<\/strong> and take part in the meeting from the comfort of home!<\/p>\n

A primer on the career of Golden Age comic book artist<\/strong> Matt Baker, celebrated as a master of \u201cGood Girl Art.\u201d<\/strong> His talent for drawing beautiful women as dynamic, expressive characters made him an in-demand artist in the romance, adventure, crime\/detective, \u201cJungle Girl,\u201d and of course, sci-fi and superhero<\/strong> genres, securing his place among the comic industry\u2019s top-ranked artists during the Golden, or any other age!<\/p>\n

Sci-Fi Balderdash! (Game)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

We always like to include a fun and challenging game in our programming of the last meeting of the year, so\u2026given only the title of an actual<\/em> SF\/F story<\/strong>, can you come up with a brief, two-sentence fake story synopsis<\/strong> for that title? Convincing enough to fool your fellow players? And, can you pick out<\/strong> the real synopsis from<\/strong> among the fakes<\/strong>?<\/p>\n
