Short film screening calendar\u00a0released!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A selection of 75 films made using stop motion techniques will grace the big screen in 10 different curated short film competition screening programs, from September 16-18, 2022<\/strong> at Concordia University\u2019s J.A. De S\u00e8ve Theatre.\u00a0Fifty-eight animated works will premiere in Montreal for the first time. The Festival is delighted to have a number of local productions coming out of the pandemic pause, which includes a dozen Canadian shorts directed mostly by female filmmakers and emerging filmmakers. The upcoming event will make sure to celebrate this production boom.<\/p>\n

Une s\u00e9lection de 75 films en stop motion seront port\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une dizaine de programmes en comp\u00e9tition,\u00a0du 16 au 18 septembre\u00a02022,\u00a0au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre J.A. de S\u00e8ve de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Concordia.\u00a0Cinquante-huit oeuvres seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al pour la premi\u00e8re fois, dont une dizaine de projets canadiens r\u00e9alis\u00e9s majoritairement par des femmes cin\u00e9astes et de la rel\u00e8ve. La Direction du Festival se r\u00e9jouit du nombre de productions locales, au sortant de la pand\u00e9mie, et compte c\u00e9l\u00e9brer cette vive activit\u00e9s le moi prochain.<\/p>\n
