The 14th Festival edition will be back in theaters this September 16 to 18, 2022 at Concordia University. We invite you all to this long-awaited reunion after two years of online activities and look forward to seeing you again in person. Canadian talent will be in the spotlight in September and we will be celebrating the expertise of many local artists.<\/p>\n

We are even more excited to unveil the official poster for our upcoming edition which promises to be heart-warming and festive! Thank you to Suzie Bergeron for the superb design and crafting of our 2022 Festival poster. With the flame still burning strong and kept alive by a vibrant community, we can’t wait to spark more stop motion passion and infuse fans with a healthy dose of puppet power. Join us for a magical weekend of inspiring exchanges and memorable experiences!<\/p>\n

Le Festival Stop Motion Montr\u00e9al de retour en salle!<\/strong><\/p>\n

La 14e \u00e9dition du Festival fera son retour en salle du 16 au 18 septembre 2022 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Concordia. Nous vous convions tous \u00e0 ces grandes retrouvailles apr\u00e8s deux ans d\u2019activit\u00e9s en ligne et avons tr\u00e8s h\u00e2te de vous retrouver. Le talent canadien sera \u00e0 l\u2019honneur en septembre et nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brerons entre autres l\u2019expertise de nombreux artistes locaux.<\/p>\n

Nous sommes d\u2019autant plus excit\u00e9s de vous d\u00e9voiler le visuel officiel pour nos prochaines c\u00e9l\u00e9brations qui se promettent d\u2019\u00eatre chaleureuses et festives! Merci \u00e0 Suzie Bergeron pour la conception et r\u00e9alisation de notre affiche 2022. PROGRAM:<\/strong>
\nAhead of revealing the full schedule for this upcoming edition, the Festival team is excited to announce the return of stop motion workshops for all skill levels as well as exhibitions, behind-the-scenes treats, \u00a0and nearly ten hours of film content that is set to dazzle to the screens.<\/p>\n

Information about our 14th edition workshops will be shared with you in the coming weeks, stay tuned!<\/p>\n

PROGRAMMATION:<\/strong>
\nEn attendant de d\u00e9couvrir le calendrier complet de la prochaine \u00e9dition, l\u2019\u00e9quipe indique d\u00e9j\u00e0 que le retour d\u2019ateliers grand public et professionnel, des expositions et pr\u00e8s de dix heures de contenu cin\u00e9matographique sur grand \u00e9cran sont pr\u00e9vus.<\/p>\n

FESTIVAL ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would like to highlight some recent changes at the helm of the organization. Dominique C\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong> was elected to the position of Festival Director this spring, following the end of cherished colleague Marie Valade<\/strong>‘s mandate as co-director. We congratulate Dominique on this new mandate, which will allow the organization to continue its activities and offerings for the international stop motion community. We give great thanks to Marie, whose exceptional work led to the creation of the Festival’s legal status as an NPO in 2014. Marie remains active within the organizing committee as a programmer. On behalf of the entire team, thank you for your titanic involvement and your continued support. And as we like to say at home: Puppet Power!<\/p>\n

CHANGEMENT \u00c0 LA DIRECTION DU FESTIVAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nous tenons \u00e0 souligner des changements \u00e0 la barre de la Direction de l\u2019organisme. Dominique C\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong> fut en effet \u00e9lue au poste de Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale ce printemps, suivant la fin de mandat de co-direction de notre coll\u00e8gue Marie Valade<\/strong>. Nous f\u00e9licitons Dominique pour ce nouveau mandat permettant \u00e0 l\u2019organisme de poursuivre ses activit\u00e9s et remercions Marie, dont le travail exceptionnel a permis entre autres la cr\u00e9ation du statut l\u00e9gal d\u2019OBNL du Festival en 2014. Marie demeure d\u2019autant plus active au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe organisatrice comme programmatrice. De la part de toute l\u2019\u00e9quipe, merci pour ton implication titanesque et ton soutien continu. Et comme nous aimons dire chez-nous: Puppet Power!<\/p>\n
