Feel free to linger on Zoom, however, and carry on the conversation for a little longer, if you wish.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>9) Two-Sentence Scares!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>We began today\u2019s e-meeting with readings of brief passages from favourite horror stories. Culled from Reddit, here offered are <em>very<\/em> brief passages\u2014a couple sentences!\u2014designed to give one a chill!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cMommy, my friend is coming over,\u201d the young girl happily announced regarding her imaginary companion. And then the motion-detector\u2019s light flickered on.<\/li>\n<li>She asked why I was breathing so heavily. But I wasn\u2019t.<\/li>\n<li>After I asked the Magic Eight-Ball to tell me how to escape death, I was confused by the answer. \u201cNo thanks honey, I\u2019m full,\u201d it read, but it all made sense later when my wife offered me cake after dinner.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>My daughter\u2019s smiling face greeted me from the driveway as I returned home from a hard day at the office. My God, where is the rest of her?<\/li>\n<li>I can\u2019t move, breathe, speak, or hear, and it\u2019s <em>so<\/em> dark all the time. If I knew it would be this lonely, I would have opted for cremation instead.<\/li>\n<li>Growing up with cats and dogs in the house, I got used to the sounds of scratching at my door while I slept. But now that the pets have passed and I live alone, it is much more unsettling.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cDon\u2019t look behind you!\u201d he exclaimed. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t like to be seen.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>No matter how much we fight, my wife will always prepare my coffee in the morning. Though this time, it <em>did<\/em> taste a little like almonds.<\/li>\n<li>There\u2019s a little girl standing outside my bedroom window. However, I live on the seventh floor.<\/li>\n<li>When I smiled, my gesture was not returned. Something is very much wrong with this mirror.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThat jerk just gave me the middle finger! I swear your Honour, I don\u2019t know where the rest of the body is.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The world was thrilled when it was announced that an all-female crew would pilot the first mission to Mars. The world was terrified three years later when they all returned, pregnant.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cYou look like <em>death<\/em>,\u201d he said, brows furrowed with concern as a wan smile crossed my face. I was flattered to be recognized, and hooked him with my scythe, pulling him down into the abyss.<\/li>\n<li>I begin tucking him into bed and he asks, \u201cDaddy, will you check for monsters under my bed?\u201d I humour him and look, and I see\u2026him, <em>another him<\/em>, under the bed, staring back at me quivering, and whispering, \u201cDaddy, there\u2019s somebody on my bed.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>I was finishing my horror story and wrote \u201cThe End.\u201d Then, on its own, my keyboard typed \u201c\u2026is coming.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span id=\"b2b86b69df\">This way the pleasure is maximized and both the partners are deprived of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unica-web.com\/archive\/2006\/2006.html\">levitra 25mg<\/a>  sexual intercourse.
