Nominations are open for the Hugo Awards, CSFFA is building the eligibility lists, and voting is open for the FAAn awards.<\/span><\/h4>\n

We are also pleased to announce that nominations for the 2021 Hugo Awards are now open and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PDT) on March 19, 2021. Nominations for the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book and the Astounding Award for Best New Writer are also open.<\/em><\/p>\n

As a reminder, DisCon III has decided to use its power under the constitution of the World Science Fiction Society (WSFS)<\/a> to create a special committee category for the 2021 Hugo Awards: Best Video Game<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aurora Awards are building the eligibility lists.

Open to all members of CSFFA. Membership is only 10$, and when you consider the voter’s package you will receive, more than worthy of 10$. You do not have to be a member to add to the eligibility lists, but if you like to read, I strongly recommend a membership. A membership will give you the right to nominate and vote, and the association will mail you works from the nominees so that you can make an informed decision.<\/p>\n

\nEach category invites you to vote up to five of your favorites of the year. A first-place vote will be awarded a \u201cbonus point\u201d toward the overall total. You do NOT have to fully complete the ballot. Fill in as many (or as few) categories and slots as you are comfortable with. If you do not agree with the \u201cfirst place bonus\u201d, feel free to leave
\nthat slot blank.
