Meanwhile, enthusiasts gather on websites like alternatehistory.com to explore what the world of film and television might be like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternatehistory.com\/forum\/threads\/sf-film-tv-without-star-trek-or-star-wars.496799\/\">if Star Trek and Star Wars never existed<\/a>, or if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternatehistory.com\/forum\/threads\/charles-darwin-pods-official-discussion-thread.321108\/\">the lives of world-changing scientists had taken a slightly different path<\/a>.
