George Philies sent Tightbeam from the N3F:

Behold the  August Tightbeam

As a minor note, someone has been sending out emails pretending to be me and asking for money. It’s not me. I have money, thanks. Please do not send them any money.

This issue of Tightbeam is under 30 pages, which appeared to be the concensus. Because we have more book reviews than that, the N3F Writers Exchange Bureau, Pro Bureau and Book Review Bureau will now be issuing a new zine:

It’s dated January 2018, but it is the latest issue. Felicity has fallen a little behind, and is still trying to catch up.  😀

Three more zines have come in! First up, the clubzine BCSFanzine 523 which is dated March 2017 because editor Felicity Walker is still trying to get caught up on all the deadlines she missed. It makes for an odd reading experience. For instance, in this issue, there are obituaries for authors and actors who passed away in 2018.

Behold! Tightbeam issue 284, the second issue of the month!  Show your appreciation for editor Bob Jennings! Send him a Letter of Comment!   Bob Jennings <fabficbks@aol.com>

Broken Toys is a really good perzine by Taral Wayne. You can download it from http://efanzines.com/Taral/BrokenToys-48.pdf and you really should have a look at last year’s editions as they are nominated for an Aurora.
